Website Terms & Disclaimer

This page explains the conditions that apply to this website and the limits of general information published here.

These website terms are separate from the clinical consent forms and agreements used when someone becomes a client of Heartland Health.

General information

Information on this website is general in nature. It is not individual psychological advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and it is not a substitute for an individual consultation with an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

No therapeutic relationship from browsing

Reading this website or sending a general enquiry does not, by itself, create a psychologist–client relationship or guarantee that Heartland Health can offer a service. Clinical services begin only after suitability, availability, onboarding and consent arrangements have been addressed.

Outcomes

Psychological therapy and assessment outcomes vary between people and circumstances. Nothing on this website guarantees improvement, a diagnosis, a particular assessment result, eligibility for funding or another particular outcome.

Website accuracy and availability

Heartland Health takes reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current. Information, fees, external scheme rules and third-party resources can change over time. Website content may be updated when practice arrangements or external requirements change.

Intellectual property

All original text, imagery, branding and design on this website is owned by Heartland Health or used with permission unless otherwise stated. Content may be viewed or printed for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial reproduction or republication requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

Responsible website use

Do not use this website unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or information.

Third-party links

This website contains links to external organisations and resources for convenience. Heartland Health does not operate those external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Please refer to the external organisation for its current information.

Consumer rights

Nothing on this website or in these website terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian consumer law.

Urgent support

This website is not a crisis channel

Heartland Health is not an emergency, crisis or after-hours service. Calls, website enquiries, email, bookings and the client portal are not continuously monitored.

If you need urgent or crisis support, see the Urgent & Crisis Support page.
